QUEBEC CONSULTING ENGINEERING AWARD 2008 - Association des ingénieurs-conseils du Québec (AICQ) - This distinction highlights the excellence in Telecommunications and New Technologies for the Telecommunications Systems and process controls of exploitation project for the extension of the second line of the metro towards Laval.

 

QUEBEC CONSULTING ENGINEERING AWARD 2008 - Association des ingénieurs-conseils du Québec (AICQ) - This distinction highlights the excellence and innovation in mechanics/electricity for energy efficiency of the Centre communautaire project in Mistissini.

 

QUEBEC CONSULTING ENGINEERING AWARD 2008 - Association des ingénieurs-conseils du Québec (AICQ) - This distinction highlights the excellence of the new generation of engineers with 5 years or less of experience. The engineer Marina Staingart from Systems and Technologies was rewarded.

 

ASHRAE TECHNOLOGY AWARD 2008, granted by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), in the "Health care facilities" category, for existing buildings in the Rehabilitation project of the Honoré-Mercier Hospital Centre.

2005 Regional Award of Merit, Technology, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) - Awarded in the Institutional Building category for the renovation of Leclerc Institute’s thermal plant in Laval.

2005 Energia Award - Colisée des Bois-Francs in Victoriaville from the Association québécoise pour la maîtrise de l’énergie (AQME), in recognition of the excellence in energy efficiency of electromechanical systems

« Grand Prix Québécois de la Qualité 2005 » - The "Mouvement québécois de la qualité" and the "Ministère du Développement économique et régional du Québec". Prize awarded to LVM-Fondatec, one of Dessau's subsidiaries. This is one of the most prestigious recognition for business management quality attributed in Quebec.

 

« Prix d’Innovation en Gestion Publique 2005 » - Public management innovation; the public administration institute of Canada (IAPC) has awarded the municipality of Longueuil the bronze prize for its maintenance and asset management program, developed by Dessau.

 

Award  of Excellence 2004 for Steel Construction 
Awarded by the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction in the “Commercial and Institutional” category, for the structural work on the New École Nationale du Cirque (National Circus School) building in Montréal.

 

Award  of Excellence 2004 for Steel Construction

Awarded by the l’Association de géomatique municipale du Québec (AGMQ), (Municipal Geomatic Association) for the “Municipal Assets Inventory Program of the City of Longueuil”.

2004 Mercuriades – Energy Efficiency – Large Companies
Awarded by the Federation of Quebec Chambers of Commerce for the energy efficiency of a new building, the Place de la CitéAlexis-Nihon (Mega-Centre).

Jean-Jacques Archambault Prize (2004)
The Association de l’industrie électrique du Québec (Quebec Electrical Industry Association). Prize awarded to Paul-Aimé Sauriol, former president and member of the Board of Directors of Dessau. This tribute is paid annually to an individual who has distinguished himself through his overall practices in the Quebec electrical industry.

2004 Energy Efficiency Award, Island of Montreal – Large Companies
Award of excellence given by the Saint-Laurent Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in recognition of the energy efficiency of innovative electromechanical systems — Marguerite-Bourgeoys School Board, Bout-de-l’Isle elementary school.

2003 Armatura Prize
Awarded by the Institut d’acier d’armature du Québec (IAAQ) (Quebec Steel Reinforcement Institute) in the “Commercial Building” category, for work on the expansion of Montreal’s Palais des congrès (convention centre).

Given by the Association québécoise pour la maîtrise de l’énergie (AQME) (Quebec Energy Control Association) to Econoler International (a subsidiary of Dessau), for various international projects in the field of energy efficiency.

Climate Technology Leadership Award 2000 – IEA/OECD
Awarded at the World Conference on Climate Change at The Hague by the International Energy Agency and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. It recognized our contribution to the development of service firms in the energy efficiency sector in countries whose economy is in transition.

Through the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) Programme on Educational Building (PEB) University of Montreal, Faculty of Environmental Planning and Design.

1998 Dunamis Award
Awarded by the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this prize recognizes the excellence of companies located in Laval. LVM-Fondatec received the “Performance” award in the “Quality” category.

1998 Merit Award
Received from the Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada (ACEC) for technology improving the performance of 220 kV power lines in Peru.

1998 Award of Excellence for international cooperation

Awarded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Alliance of Manufacturers and Exporters Canada, for technological advancement within the framework of a project seeking to reduce power outages and improve the electrical network on the coast of Peru.

1997 Flygt Award

Annual meeting of the Association québécoise des techniques de l'environnement (Quebec Association of Environmental Techniques) and the Association des entrepreneurs de services en environnement du Québec (Quebec Association of Environmental Services Contractors) for “Bilan de la déphosphatation chimique des eaux usées au Québec”, an article on the chemical dephosphating of Quebec wastewater considered worthy of mention.
