Street Rehabilitation, Dominique

Feasibility study, Roseau Street rehabilitation project

The third phase of the «Water & Sanitation Project» consists of 13 water supply and disposal sub-projects for the communities surrounding Dominique Island, including its capital, Roseau.   In contemplation of the various work stages, the capital's road maintenance has been kept to a minimum, which subsequently required that a rehabilitation program be implemented.

The objective of the study consisted in the evaluation of the various trafic components and associated problems, so as to recommend solutions to improve the free flow of traffic in the streets of Roseau.

These recommendations were integrated into the design and the construction of new road infrastructures.
